Review the home and its foothill setting together.
A Front Range project may involve a house beside open grassland, a wooded foothill lot, or a combination of both. We review the immediate area around the structure, connected decks and fences, surrounding fuels, slope and practical access for the proposed work.
Ember-entry points on the house
Review attic and crawl-space vents, soffits, roof edges and exterior gaps. The scope distinguishes a targeted retrofit from a larger replacement and connects material choices to the existing wall or roof assembly.
Decks beside foothill vegetation
For wooded lots and homes adjoining open grassland, review deck undersides, attached fences and nearby combustible materials together. Vegetation work should support the building improvements rather than stop at an arbitrary edge of the yard.
An estimate organized around your report
If you have a wildfire assessment, list its recommended actions and your priorities. Access, slope, debris handling and HOA requirements help distinguish construction tasks from the vegetation work needed around the property.
What to include in your request
Send photos of the home’s exterior, vents, decks and surrounding vegetation. Include local inspection recommendations, access concerns and any HOA guidance so the estimate addresses the work you actually need.
Planning your project
Can an existing mitigation report guide the estimate?
Yes. Include its recommendations in your scope or share it when the team follows up. We can use it to discuss priorities and clarify which items require construction, vegetation work or further assessment.
Are the Front Range and Western Slope services the same?
They have separate regional pages and scopes. The Front Range offers home hardening, defensible space and assessments. The Western Slope listing focuses on defensible space, assessments and exterior gap reviews; choose the region that matches your address.
What happens after I request an estimate?
We confirm receipt by email, review your address and proposed work, and reach out to discuss the project. The team confirms scope, site-visit needs and scheduling before work begins.
Can improvements reduce my insurance premium?
Insurance discounts vary by state, insurer and policy. The California FAIR Plan example on our calculator does not establish savings for a property outside California. Ask your insurer or broker about eligible improvements and retain records of the completed work.
