Building improvements and defensible space
Home hardening addresses vents, roof edges, windows, decks, and other exterior details. Defensible space addresses nearby vegetation, debris, and combustible materials. We consider both when defining the priorities, materials, installation scope, and recurring upkeep for a property.
We prioritize the Greater Bay Area and San Diego County. In Oregon, Idaho, or another U.S. location, contact us about project availability. The address, scope, and qualifications required for the work are confirmed before an engagement.
Document improvements for insurer review
Ask your current insurer which mitigation improvements it recognizes before commissioning work. Photographs, invoices, and product details can support its review. Our savings calculator illustrates how a potential discount could affect your premium; eligibility and the actual amount are determined by your insurer.
Home hardening reduces vulnerabilities; it does not make a home fireproof or guarantee insurance acceptance, renewal, or savings.
